Sharonda M. Ellerby, EA, is the Founder and CEO of Ellerby Enterprises and now, a dedicated single mother. Since 1997, she has provided trusted tax, financial, and business advisory services to individuals and businesses throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and beyond.

Beginning her career as a tax preparer, Ms. Ellerby advanced to become an Enrolled Agent (EA), federally authorized by the IRS to represent taxpayers in all matters before the Internal Revenue Service. Since earning her EA credential in 2015, she has specialized in personal and business tax preparation, tax planning, business formation, consulting, payroll services, and IRS representation.

Ms. Ellerby earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Baltimore in 2003 and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice in 1996. She also holds multiple professional licenses, including Property, Casualty, and Title Insurance Producer Licenses, and has served as the owner of Qwik Tag and Title Agent since 2008. She is also the owner of Charm City Title & Escrow Services.

Her extensive entrepreneurial experience includes:

• Owner & Instructor Trainer, One Way Driver Academy (2008-2025)
• Owner/Caterer/Decorator, Supreme Ballroom Event Venue (2014-2025)
• Commercial Property Owner (2014-2025) of a 14,000-square-foot business complex
• Special Police Officer (2019-2026) responsible for security and operational oversight of her Rosedale commercial property
• Owner of Commercial Office Locations in both Baltimore City and Baltimore County

A lifelong entrepreneur and educator, Ms. Ellerby is currently working toward establishing her own Tax School to educate and empower the next generation of tax professionals and business owners. Through her workshops, consulting services, and community outreach, she remains committed to helping aspiring entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses.

At 54, Ms. Ellerby continues to live by her personal motto: "As the Struggle Continues."
